Tis the month of April…

Sunday, April 18th, 2010

There isn’t much to say about my recent hiatus. I took a few months off to get my life straightened out after the events in Africa. I’m not worried of a repeat performance by any means. I do worry that those out there who are looking to us for the latest news on zombies and viral infections might take this a little too seriously.

It’s with this in mind that I’m going to be separating the business of the Compound and the NR website altogether. I’ll be on here more than usual, but I want to move this whole thing more toward a fictional zombie site. I’ve been playing Left 4 Dead 2 nonstop since it came out and am looking forward to turning the NecroResistance website into a fan site. A guild, if you will.

I would also like to see fan fiction, zombie art, and written fiction on zombies in particular.

I’m not bowing to “the man” if that’s what you’re all thinking. I just think that business and pleasure shouldn’t mix unless you are a prostitute. My business is the Compound. My pleasure is zombies altogether. So with your help, all of you, I would like to move this thing along and become the biggest and best L4D/Zombie site online. Let me know what you think and submit what you have.

I’ll be waiting!

Tom

It’s been awhile, I know.

I have been away for a couple of months. The Compound had to be without its leader for that time, but things were taken care of, so fear not. I’ll have a full update tomorrow, but for now I need to get some sleep. I really don’t have the energy to be on here right now.

Left 4 Dead 2

Saturday, June 27th, 2009

Okay, so it’s official. There’s going to be an L4D 2. Is anyone else as excited about this as I am? I have given it some serious thought, and I’ve decided that since there’s just so much on my plate with all the on-campus stuff that’s happening lately here at the Necro Compound, that I’m going to transition the NecroResistance website over to an L4D fan site. I took a vote with the members of the compound, and they all agree that for this site to serve a real purpose, this is the best route.

So beginning July 1st, 2009, this website is going to become the official site of the NecroResistance L4D Clan. Hey, we’re not just about preparing for the oncoming zombie war, we are about having fun too. So what better way to celebrate the coming Left 4 Dead 2 than by beginning an official L4D Necro Clan? We are going to start a forum to go along with this, as well as have open invitations for those that want to join.

I’ll continue to post topics related to life here on the Compound as well as true-life zombie information, that will never change. But in order to keep this site more lively, this seems like the best option. If you have an opinion on this matter, please feel free to post here.

OCModshop Article plagiarized

Sunday, April 19th, 2009

Last month I allowed Don from OCModshop to come here to Idaho and interview me to help get more people to see what was going on at the Compound, but I found out today that someone in China or something has stolen the article and posted it over there on their site.

I feel that Asian countries are on the forefront of biological testing and could eventually bring about the beginning of the zombie era, so I’m not too happy that they are able to keep track of what’s going on in the Compound.

Here’s the link to the OCMS blog where Alan talks about it:

Although they didn’t copy any of the material with OC’s logos on it, they took plenty of ours. I’m not happy about this at all. I’m afraid legal issues might arise from this, seeing as they copied material about us from the only site authorized to have journalistic contracts with myself and the NecroResistance. Further updates as they occur, my friends.

A new website for the cause

Sunday, March 29th, 2009

Hey everyone, Tom here.  I thought that with all the support and increasing awareness that Necroresistance has been getting, it might be time to make the jump from a boring website to something new and fantastic.  The new site offers much more than the original.  We are going to keep the world updated as to the inner workings of the Necrosistance Compound.  And no, contrary to many rumors, the Compound is not going to be officially named Boomer Ranch.

Also, I would like to make this site official by welcoming the two newest members of the cause, Alex and Clinton.  They bring to us a combined 12 years of army combat training, and will be joining us as trainers on the field.  We are also setting up a class on Left 4 Dead Tactics that they will both be attending, so stop in and say hi!

I’m going to make this short, as I have an interview tonight with a journalist from OCModshop.com to do an article on us!  It’s exciting times my friends.  Today is the day that we take one more step in the spread of awareness of the future to come.  And that we are on the right path to clean up the mess that is on its way.
