My apologies to all the loyal Necros out there. We are looking into getting some new equipment here at the compound and everyone has been scurrying around to get things done. Unfortunately, that means that the website has to be second to more important matters. This is the time of month when we start ordering our food rations and daily living supplies, and it gets hectic.
But just to keep everyone up on news, the good Dr. Shylar is working on a replica of a zombie body so that we can more closely examine weaknesses when it comes to close and ranged combat. He has been working with ballistics jell (something very new to him) as well as trying to simulate rigor-toughened muscle and skin, so he has been away from his computer as well. Sorry, fellow zombie biologists, you’ll have to wait for your updates too.
And last but not least, I have downloaded the new Left 4 Dead SDK (Software Development Kit) so I can begin work on a campaign for download that is centered around the NecroResistance Compound. I’m sure I’m not the only one excited to play that one. Dr. Shylar had his first round in the simulator yesterday, and is not as great at PC games as he is at biology I’m afraid to say. But he was a good sport about it.
Okay, that’s about all I have for today. I’ll try to get some further information on what’s going on here at the compound up on the site in the near future, with any luck tomorrow. For now, I have to go check in with our weapons guy and see how he’s doing with our new modified crossbows. More on that later.
